Wearing a face mask has become essential in the times we are living in, especially to protect others when we are indoors (remember also to keep the social distance of at least one meter!) However, using disposable masks is not the most sustainable and ethical solution, so in this post I show you 5 cool face masks that are not only reusable but also produced in a sustainable and ethical way.
Jan ‘n June
Jan ‘n June is a sustainable brand that I like a lot because I love the style of their clothes. To make their face masks they use waste cloth from previous collections. My favorite is the one with a tropical print but they also ha´ve them in plain colors.
Armedangels
By buying an Armedangels face mask, in addition to protecting others, you also do good because for every purchase € 2 will be donated to Doctors Without Borders. Their face masks are made of organic cotton and recycled polyester and have a very minimal and elegant style. I love those with printed messages.
Thokk Thokk
This sustainable brand of basic garments has created its face masks in bright colors and prints that bring joy. The material used is TENCEL which regulates the temperature, absorbs humidity and is very resistant. The adjustable laces make them suitable for everyone.
Mae Sue
These handmade face masks also have an opening to insert a filter (such as the coffee filter) which make them even safer. The prints and styles are a lot, but I really like this white one with embroided polka dots
Phyne
These face masks have printed messages that make them unique, with a loto of choice of prints and colors and are made of organic cotton. I like that their shape is large enough to cover the chin to be even safer.
