5 best sustainable and ethical winter coats

Although winter is not my favorite season, I love winter fashion. In particular I like to invest in high quality, timeless coats that last me over time. I would like to buy a new coat and during my research I have selected 5 of them, all from sustainable and ethical brands and all with different styles. I don’t know how to choose my favorite! The duffel coat – Komodo

Duffel coats will always be fashionable and are a timeless garment. I love the dark blue color of this one from Komodo which is also vegan and made with 100% recycled PET.

The classic black double breasted coat – Jan N June

A classic structured black coat is a must have for the winter wardrobe. However, this model has the particularity of being longer than the classic double breasted coats, and I love it for that! Jan N June is an amazing brand, and this coat is 100% vegan made from organic cotton. Even the buttons are sustainable and made partially of recycled paper!

The sporty down jacket – Patagonia

This type of jacket wasn’t one of my favorites, I always prefered to wear more classic and less sporty coats or jackets. Recently, however, I have re-evaluated the down jackets and I find them perfect for cold winters. Patagonia is the best brand for sporty outwear and the jacket I selected is made from 100% recycled polyester.

The stylish camel coat – Ecoalf

This apparently very classic coat is actually really cool thanks to the print on the back: “Because there is no planet B”. This coat is also vegan, ethically made and made of 100% recycled nylon

The chic pink coat – Monsoon

It couldn’t miss a more colorful coat and this pink one is so adorable and chic. The coat line is very elegant and I love the tortoiseshell buttons. This is the only coat of my selection that is not vegan, as it’s made up partly of wool, but Monsoon is a brand that I support because of their commitment to the environment and the workers.
