The ceremony was obviously the most moving moment of the whole wedding. We chose to do a civil ceremony that was held in a room of the villa where our reception was held, and I must say that I couldn’t have made a better choice. The room, although small, was cozy and warm, perfect for a winter wedding. The floral decorations were similar to those that we used for the reception room and the ceiling was decorated with white sheets that made it even more romantic. The moment just before entering, when I was with my dad, I felt the emotions all together when I started to hear the music I chose, the Pachelbel Canon played on the piano. Also my dad was obviously very moved and I think that from the photos you can see it, but sharing that moment with him was precious. When I saw Ste and his smile, the feeling that prevailed was one of happiness in knowing that soon we would become husband and wife. The ceremony was even more beautiful thanks to a speech made for us by my father in law and a very beautiful poem read by the celebrant. Like the rest of the wedding, the moment of the ceremony was perfect in every detail and looking at these photos makes me live again those beautiful moments.
