Hotel review: Bussi Baby – Bad Wiessee, Germany

Last weekend I spent two nights at the Bussi Baby hotel, a new design boutique hotel located in the beautiful surroundings of Tegernsee. As you know, if you follow me for a while, I love modern and unique design and I started to review hotels to start exploring new interiors as well as to recommend the coolest places to stay around the world. This hotel impressed me for its unique and unconventional style, the perfect starting point to visit Tegernsee, if you like me love unique interior design. If you want to visit this beautiful area of Bavaria I recommend this hotel; we spent two perfect days and we also ate divinely. But let’s start talking about the Bussi Baby hotel in more detail.

Room

Our room was a superior with a small living area and a desk. The walls are all covered in wood, a detail that I love and that makes every space welcoming. The decor of the hotel is really modern and ironic. I loved the print of the famous Bavarian king Ludwig II in the “Thug life” version. Even the bathroom, equipped with everything you need, has a minimal and modern design, with a very spacious shower

Interior

As I said, I loved the interior of this hotel, with its particular design. The common areas such as the bar, the breakfast room and the restaurant are furnished in a modern unique style. The Thai restaurant was very special, a mix between typical Bavarian Stüberl with oriental style. The spacious and bright breakfast room is my absolute favorite. The main color of this room is green, in fact on the windowsills there are many beautiful plants.

Food

Breakfast was abundant and suitable for both those who love sweet and savory. I appreciated the fresh orange juices, but also the good choice of croissants, fruit and desserts. In the evening we had dinner at the hotel’s Thai restaurant. The food was really delicious with so many vegetarian options for those, like us, who don’t eat meat. I really appreciated that the dishes were authentic Thai and the portions really abundant, so abundant that I couldn’t try the desserts even if I wanted to taste at least one. The dish that I preferred was a traditional Pat Thai with tamarind sauce, really delicious!
