5 tips for the perfect home office set up

When working from home as I do it’s very important to create an environment that makes us feel good and at the same time enhances our productivity. Over time I’ve made many changes and improvements to the corner I use to work and now I think that it has become the perfect work area to be productive at best. I decided to share with you some tricks and things I learned to create the perfect home office set up.1. Keep all the things and documents you need at your fingertips

It may seem like a foregone advice, but often when you don’t have an organized workspace, you lose a lot of time looking for what you need like a pen or documents. This is why it’s very important to keep everything you need close to be easily reached, so you don’t interrupt your work flow2. Have a comfortable chair

It’s very important to have a comfortable chair that allows you to maintain a good posture during the working hours. Unfortunately don’t have an ergonomic office chair yet, but I tried to buy a chair at least comfortable that allows me to sit many hours without realizing it.3. Surround yourself with motivational decor

I take a lot of motivation from the environment around me and it’s important for me that my space completely reflects me. This is why I decided to decorate my home office with this beautiful gallery wall that I recently renewed thanks to the prints by Tales by Jen, which besides being beautiful and elegant, motivate me thanks to their phrases.4. Create a vision board

A vision board is an essential thing to have in the home office because it stimulates creativity and helps you achieve your goals. What I have in my home office is an inspiration board that I try to change at least twice a year and in which I collect some inspirations regarding outfits or simply photos that I like.5. Lighting

Last but not least is the correct lighting. I placed my desk next to a window and the lighting is really optimal as it comes from the left. I hardly ever work at the my desk in the evening so I don’t need a table lamp, but if you do this is another item to absolutely have.
