How to wear culottes

I’ve always admired culottes in street style photographs and in editorials, but I hadn’t ever tried to wear them. I finally found the perfect pair from Asos, which have the perfect lenght slightly above the ankles and the perfect color. I decided to combine them with an edgy chic look, wearing hat and heels and black details. I really like the result and I want to enrich my closet with other culottes, of different colors and materials. I’m also obsessed with those in leather and maybe slightly shorter, perhaps combined with a structured oversize top. How would you wear culottes?
