Vegan beauty products are much more popular in recent times and more and more people are approaching veganism, a lifestyle that pays attention not only to food but also clothes and beauty. For me, choosing skin care products that are vegan and possibly also organic it’s very important and my favorite online shop where to find the best vegan skin care products is Shop Apotheke. It’s very important not to finance any product that contains animal derived ingredients; but the benefits of choosing vegan skincare are many and even if you are not vegan you should consider changing your habits. Remember, however, that vegan products are not necessarily organic or natural as well. I wrote a very detailed post about the difference between these three categories to clarify any doubts.
1. Vegan beauty products are also 100% cruelty-free
This means that no product has been tested on animals and no living being has been abused for its realization
2. Vegan beauty products don’t contain any animal by-product
Anyone would be shocked to know what kind of ingredients can contain a conventional beauty product. Among the ingredients of animal origin are uric acids extracted form cows, extracts of dead insects or gelatine made from pig’s skin. In addition to being undoubtedly disgusting and unethical, these ingredients are not very delicate on the skin.
3. Vegan beauty products are better for sensitive skin
These products are almost always made with non-aggressive natural ingredients that are particularly suitable for those with sensitive skin.
4. Vegan beauty products are better for the environment
Most vegan cosmetics brands also care about the environment and are committed to using packaging with a reduced use of plastic or plastic-free and not to use environmentally harmful chemical ingredients in their formulations.
5. There are options for every budget
Vegan products are becoming more popular and more and more brands of all price range are founded. You can find products for every skin type from the cheapest to the most expensive.

I’ve been working on more ethical beauty for a while now and always check the CF/ vegan status. Such great reasons to stick to vegan skincare!
