Wedding diary: getting ready

On the morning of my wedding I woke up very happy and rested. Both the night before and the previous days I was very calm, I was just happy and looking forward to celebrate our union with the people I love. Obviously, however, as I was getting ready and the time for the beginning of the ceremony was approaching, I began to feel very excited and nervous.

On every detail of the wedding I was determined on how I wanted it, but I didn’t know what hairstyle to choose. I just knew I wanted to keep my natural curls, so I entrusted myself to the amazing Laura Nannini, an expert on ceremony hairstyles on curly hair. During the test we made three different hairstyles and I chose this wonderful and elegant side updo embellished with fresh flowers from my bouquet.

I decided to make my makeup by myself. I really like the result and above all the makeup lasted all day without melting. The tones are very natural both on the eyes and on the lips.

It was nice to see Ste’s preparations too and, although he will never admit it, you can see the emotion he felt from the wonderful shots of Marco Cattaneo.
