Hotel Review: Gat Point Charlie – Berlin

As you know if you follow me on Instagram, I recently came back from a trip to Berlin where I was for Fashion Week. When I attend Fashion Weeks, it’s very important to stay in a high-quality hotel, both for the service and for the location. This time I chose the Gat Point Charlie hotel, which is located in a perfect area in Berlin Mitte. It was also an excellent base near the places where most of the shows took place. If you read my hotel reviews, you will know how the modern and unique interior design is one of the things I like the most in a hotel and Gat Point Charlie did not disappoint me.

Room

Our room was a very spacious suite on the 7th floor with a wonderful view over the city. The interiors are decorated with a modern and unique design. In addition there was also the presence of a living area with a sofa and a larger TV than that of the sleeping area. The bathroom with shower is also quite spacious and equipped with everything you need.

Interior

One of the features that I’ve enjoyed the most about the hotel is its very special interior. The cat is the symbol of the hotel, and can also be found in the details of the decor. Even the logo of Gat Rooms is the eye of a cat, a detail that I loved. I really liked the common areas, both the lobby where there is a huge map of Berlin on a wall, both the breakfast room and the bar. The latter has a very elegant retro mood with soft lighting and red leather sofas. From the hotel you can directly access the nearby restaurant where you can try typical Asian specialties. Another service offered by the hotel is bike rental, a perfect way to visit the city in the summer.

Breakfast

Breakfast is provided with a great variety both sweet and savory. I loved the homemade cakes and cookies that were really delicious, but also the croissants and pain au chocolat. Of course you can try a typical german breakfast as well.

To conclude if you are planning a trip to Berlin, I recommend you to stay in this hotel to enjoy the perfect location and a design hotel at affordable prices. In Lisbon there is another hotel from the Gat chain and if in future I will visit this city, I will definitely consider staying there. A mention of honor also to the team of Gat Point Charlie who was really attentive to our needs and was very kind.
