Sustainable brand: MUD Jeans

As I already told you on Instagram, I decided to start a new serie here on the blog where I will talk about sustainable brands that I like and that I want to introduce you to. These brands can be of various types, clothing, accessories or beauty because lately I’m slowly trying to live a more environmentally sustainable lifestyle and I think it’s important for each of us to be aware that the choices we make every day have an impact on our planet.

The brand I’m talking about today is Mud Jeans, a denim wear brand with an incredible aim. Their goal is to eliminate waste by giving enormous importance to recycling and to the circular economy. In fact, on their online site you can lease a pair of jeans by paying a member fee once and a monthly fee for a year. At the end of the year you can decide whether to keep the same jeans, whether to exchange it with another pair or if too ruined to return it so that it is recycled and given a new life. I find this approach really brilliant in order to always wear new models of jeans without throwing away the old ones, in an ethical and sustainable way.

Of course you can also buy the jeans you like the most online and in their physical stores choosing among their models that are all wonderful. I chose the Straight Mimi and I love it. The quality is excellent and it’s made of a mix of recycled and organic cotton.

Mud Jeans really impressed me with the effort it makes to be sustainable in every area, giving value to recycling, to the eco-friendly economy, the use of organic materials, and all this without exploiting or underpaid workers. They also have an excellent repair service in case your jeans get damaged so your jeans can last as long as possible. I am happy that this brand is the first one to be present in my new serie. I hope this brand has struck you as it struck me and I invite you to buy one of their jeans or t try the lease service.

  13. Love this Series idea! I’ve been looking for some new sustainable brands myself lately. I hope more of them will appear in the next years, cause it´s so important! Never heard of Mud Jeans before, will check them out! Thanks for sharing

  19. That is really amazing that you are focusing on sustainable brands. I have been challenging myself to move away from fast fashion and buy from ethical and sustainable brands whenever possible and it hasn’t been easy. These days, there are some cool brands emerging that prioritize ethical working conditions, environmental sustainability, and transparency over profit.
