Hotel review: Gams hotel – Bezau, Austria

Today’s review is about a super romantic hotel where I had the pleasure of stay last weekend. It’s the Gams Hotel which is located in a wonderful location in Bezau in Austria, surrounded by nature and mountains. The view from the rooms is breathtaking and I can only imagine how anything can be even more magical in winter with everything covered with snow. The hotel is mainly aimed for couples who want to celebrate any occasion or just spend a little romantic getaway. But as usual here is my review in details.

Room

The room where we stayed was really wonderful. Inside it was furnished with strong Moorish recalls that I adored. The view from the terrace, as I mentioned before, was wonderful. I also loved the fireplace and the tub that was located directly in the room near a window, perfect for a romantic bath with a glass of champagne

Interior

The rest of the hotel, as the room, it’s decorated with references to the “1001 Arabian Nights”. Talking to the hotel manager I asked the reason for this choice and her response was that the intention was to recreate a magical, fairy-tale world in which to retreat without thinking about everyday life.

Wellness Area

In the package of our weekend it was even included a treatment in the spa. Ste and I were taken to our private steam bath where we sprinkled with a fragrant blend of chocolate and coconut, very good for moisturizing the skin. After this wonderful treatment we had a hot chocolate in the relaxation area and soon after they prepared the tub in our room with smelling salts, a chocolate dessert and a bottle of champagne. Needless to say, it has been a unique and wonderful experience. The wellness area we visited later in its entirety is equipped with everything you need, including several pools, both indoors and outdoors, with water at different temperatures.

Food

The food was the gem that made me love even more the hotel. We had a half board with breakfast and dinner included. The dinner included a four-course menu and both times everything was absolutely delicious, with refined ingredients. The breakfast included a large buffet for all tastes, the perfect way to wake up!
